Delivery Questions

Orders are dispatched within 24 to 48 hours of receipt, pending stock availability and weekends/public holidays. Please refer to the delivery guide times page for more information.

Unfortunately we cannot give precise times as this inevitably leads to disappointments if the carrier is delayed. However deliveries are usually only made during working hours. If your order can be left somewhere safe, you can advise us of this at the time of ordering using the Delivery Instructions box,located on the delivery page during checkout.

Yes, give your work address as the delivery address when ordering.

A card will be left with a phone number to call to arrange an alternative time. Instead, you may wish to tell us if there is somewhere safe to leave the wines (e.g. with a neighbour or in a shed). Use the Delivery Instructions box,located on the delivery page during checkout.

This can certainly be done, but is better handled over the phone. Please call the Wine Empire team on (02) 8060 4650 or email us so that we can assist you.

Unfortunately, this is not possible. The Wine Empire is an online retailer, as as such, we have a virtual shop, instead of a traditional bricks and mortar store. We fulfil orders from a number of warehouses, which are not open to the public.

Wines and Spirits bought through The Wine Empire, and which are delivered outside of Australian borders will be repackaged in insulated polystyrene packaging. This is to ensure items are received at the end of transit safely, and in the condition they were despatched.

General Questions

We can usually amend your order, providing it has not been fully packed for despatch. Please try to supply your order number or postcode when you Contact Us.

By its very nature, wine is a product in a finite supply and vintages can often run out or be replaced at very short notice. We always endeavour to keep the information on the website up to date but due to our buying patterns we do reserve the right to send out different vintages from the ones advertised without notice. If you are especially keen on a specific vintage, please do call us on (02) 8060 4650 beforehand.
