This is followed by a smoothly textured wine with ripe red and black fruits, spicy flavours and soft tannins. Boscarelli Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG 2006 RRP - $69.99 Bottle - $65.95 Case of 6 - $395.70      Deep black almandine ruby with black reflections. Muted bouquet, though swishing brings up delicate cherry and berry fruit supported by some red currant acidity and alcoholic warmth. Quite a bit going on, and promising. On the palate it's medium bodied and graceful, with rich cherry fruit that has some black currant overtones, with slightly brambly acidity that provides direction, and smooth sweet tannins that have a slightly greenish youthful Sangiovese burr, and flow into a clean cedar-laced slightly savory finish. Carlei Green Vineyards Shiraz 2005 RRP - $29.00 Bottle - $24.95 Case of 6 - $149.70      Very deep red with a purple hue, the aroma has intense ripe red and black fruits avoiding any over-ripe elements. Hints of spice and savoury notes lead to a palate that complements the aromas, rich and round with intense, juicy and chewy fruit, framed by soft but persistent tannins and a touch of oak. A lingering, balanced mineral acidity finishes a complex wine representing the classical Cambrian terroir in a warmer year. Although the wine is rich, it shows a focused structure and will therefore continue to develop with further bottle aging. Case Only (6 Units)
