Against a citrus background these are synonomous with earlier vintages. Ragtime is intended to add to conviviality as is all nice wine. The animated babble from diners (and the owner) at Trio Cafe clearly point to Ragtime as an effective loosener of the tongue. It has just enough sweetness for those who confess to a saccharin tooth but is also racy enough to arouse instincts thought long dead in older blokes and sheilas. Get on with it! Konrad Riesling 07 / 08 RRP - $20.95 Bottle - $18.95 Case of 12 - $227.40           A brilliant pale straw green colour. This Riesling shows aromas of lemon, lime and apple blossom and a lovely mineral earthiness to accentuate the floral aromatics. The palate is taut and dry with just a hint of residual sugar to balance the wine’s acid spine.
