In the mouth it is juicy and savory with fine ripe tannins, excellent structure and balanced acidity. Cascabel Monastrell 2007 RRP - $42.99 Bottle - $38.95 Case of 6 - $233.70           Deep dark ruby. Bouquet Concentrated bouquet of black cherries and fine tobacco. Palate Voluptuous fruit and spice, with deep well integrated tannin. Cellaring Ideal for drinking now but can be cellared for up to eight years. This retake on Rioja is all stern attitude dressed up in silk. This is an emerging classic and I'm sure you'll remember where you drank it for the first time and what the occasion was. It's a bit like a top euro sports car, powerful underneath but detailed and soft on the inside. Chalk Hill Mclaren Vale 'Sidetrack' Shiraz Cabernet Grenache 2006 RRP - $19.99 Bottle - $17.95 Case of 12 - $215.40           Chalk Hill Sidetrack is an easy drinking full bodied wine packed full of jammy fruits and great oak integration. Sidetrack is a blend of 60% Shiraz 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Grenache and was aged in a mix of old and new tight grain French Oak. The wine has a deep plum red colour, with a lifted berry fruit and caramel on the nose. The strong varietal fruit characters on the palate are supported by peppermint, chocolate and some earthy flavours, with a persistant Finish. Case Only (12 Units)
