Artadi 'Orobio' Rioja 2007 RRP - $27.95 Bottle - $25.95 Case of 12 - $311.40           Spanish value for money! Orobio Tinto is a new project of Artadis Juan Carlos Lopez de la Calle. He is at the forefront of Rioja's great producers and this is a sensational modern, sensuous wine. Produced from 100% Tempranillo from high elevations, 50% of the wine was aged for 6 months in French oak. "Youthful, juicy number with fresh, savoury fruit showing restrained, spicy edges. Very vibrant, very flavoursome. A good drink." Winestate Magazine. It should age for up to 10 years and to find rioja at this quality is just not easy. If youve never experienced the tempranillo grape from the Rioja region then this is the perfect wine to try. Case Only (12 Units)

Campo Eliseo Tinta de Toro by Jacques Lurton 2003 RRP - $135.95 Bottle - $125.95 Case of 3 - $377.85           Almost black colour, with purple rim. Balsamic on the nose, with notes of mint (eucalyptus), wood, vanilla and spice (clove). Very aromatic and concentrated on the palate with a body that does not overpower the finesse, ripeness and harmony, with tannins that linger firmly but smoothly on the finish. Case Only (3 Units)

Cellars Capcanes ‘Lasendal’ Garnacha 2006 RRP - $38.95 Bottle - $35.95 Case of 6 - $215.70           10 months in used 500 litre French, this is savoury Garnacha of great elegance. Rather than the raspberry of French Grenache, this is in a darker beefstock and briary blackberry register, with typical mineral-floral complexity. ‘La Sendal’ = ‘the path”, indicating the site halfway up the mountain to the towering Cabrida.
